To provide dependable, accurate, secure media notification services for our subscribers. To continue to evolve with the changing needs of our subscribers while providing our services affordably and efficiently.
SNOWCAP has been recognized as the leading media notification system for more than 10 years and we are just getting started!
SNOWCAP, originally designed as a public service system offering schools a convenient format to notify families of weather related emergencies and school closings has quickly evolved into so much more. The popularity of the system drew the attention of businesses and non-profit organizations requesting to use SNOWCAP when there was a need to interrupt or discontinue daily activities due to a crisis situation.
For that reason, SNOWCAP has become more than just weather notification program and is currently used by its subscribers to announce all types of emergency and critical situations from traditional weather calls to power outages that affect only specific communities or citizens, to chemical explosions that affect large geographical areas and require major evacuation.
In response to the growing demand, SNOWCAP has expanded and upgraded our services to handle all announcement requests with even more ease and simplicity and added a customer service department that is available 24/7 in the event a subscriber is not able to enter announcements via our secure web site.
How Does The System Work?
SNOWCAP connects with your broadcast media and delivers your message to all television, radio and news stations simultaneously for airing. In the case of television, your information is typically relayed via news crawl at the bottom of the television screen. For radio and other news broadcasts, your message will be read on air. In the event of a major catastrophe affecting large populations, your message will be delivered live via newscasters.
Who Is Eligible To Subscribe?
All Schools, Day Care facilities, Churches, Non-profit Organizations and Businesses that serve the greater population of their community.
